Campsite Rules and Conditions
- Camper Vans - Camper vans are permitted on site, however touring
caravans are not.
- No Dogs - We do not allow dogs onto the campsite under any circumstances.
- Stereos and Musical Instruments - No stereos or musical instruments
are to be played on the campsite at any time. This rule may be relaxed between
the hours of 10am - 8pm, provided noise levels are not intrusive upon your
fellow campers.
- No Stag or Hen Parties - Stags and hens are easy to identify and
you will be asked to leave the campsite without a refund of your pitch fees.
- Groups of 10 or More - Only by prior arrangement
with the management. Please note there is a condition of entry - we will
normally require a monetary bond as a guarantee of good behaviour.
- Under 18's - With parental supervision only, unless by prior arrangement.
- Driving - Any person(s) performing handbrake turns on the fields,
or driving dangerously, will be asked to leave the campsite immediately.
Any driver whom we consider to be under the influence of drink or drugs
will not be permitted onto the campsite.
- Fires - Open fires are not permitted on the campsite. We will permit
small fires in the dunes, but ask that all debris, bottles and cans etc.
are brought back to the campsite for disposal in an appropriate manner.
- Barbecues - Conventional barbecues are permitted on the site. We
ask that if disposables are used, they are placed on stands or stones to
prevent scorching the grass.
- Fireworks - The discharge of fireworks is strictly prohibited on
the campsite and surrounding areas. This includes both the sand dunes and
the beach.
- Rubbish - All rubbish must be bagged and placed in the bins which
can be found in the compound between fields 1 and 2. Please recycle your
bottles and cans. Please keep your pitch clean and tidy at all times.
- Wetsuits - Wetsuits are not to be washed or worn inside the toilet
/ shower blocks at any time.
- Noise - Please conduct yourself with due regard to other campers
at all times. Please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10pm -
9am.
- General Conduct - If at any time, in our opinion, the conduct of
any camper is such that it is considered to be detrimental to our interests,
or the enjoyment of other campers, then they will be asked to leave the
campsite.
In all circumstances, entry to the park is at the discretion of the management.
Anyone found to be in breach of the campsite rules,
or being the cause of any disturbance whatsoever, will be asked to leave without
refund and refused future admission to Hillend.
